Texas Democrats tried, and failed, in the United States Supreme Court to overturn their states new redistricting map, which saw Texas gain four new seats. The new map, Democrats contend, is racist because it will mean fewer seats for minorities. Or, to put it another way, the new map, Democrats contend, is racist because it means fewer seats for liberal minorities who belong to the Democrat Party, who would have otherwise, had they the opportunity in congress, voted for bigger government, higher taxes on businesses, and more social programs to ensnare more Americans already hopelessly in despair, where the Democrat Party would hold them hostage and enslaved to their socialistic agenda.
The Obama administration, the state Democratic Party and minority groups have challenged parts or all of the state’s redistricting plan for violating the voting rights law, and said the judicially drawn one should be used on an interim basis.
Once again we have a Democrat President interfering in matters best left to the state. And once again, if this had been George W. Bush, or any other Republican President interfering in state’s rights, and in a state’s right to redistricting its own political map, Democrats and the MSM would be all over him and all Republicans and conservatives – especially if a Republican had gotten involved in a lawsuit to overturn a blue state’s political redistricting map which would have been redrawn to include more liberal Democrats and fewer conservative Republicans.
The Democrats loss in the Supreme Court would normally mean game over. But the game is never over with Democrats, and don’t expect them to be satisfied or content, or in any way agreeable with this decision. They will use it to further prop up their bogus claim of a racist America, a racist Republican Party and a racist Supreme Court – all reasons why, they will say, Obama must be reelected and Democrats must regain the House and keep the Senate.
And while Democrats waste time and energy crying racist this and racist that, the Republicans continue their march to victory with words and phrases of wisdom and hope – a plan to put Americans back to work and to revive our economy. How is your life impacted, for the better, by a party that spends more of its waking hours calling their opponents racists and doing very little else?
When it comes time for you to vote, are you going to vote for the ones that only cried racism? Or are you going to vote for the ones with a real plan and with a better and more hopeful outlook for America and for you?
